Mary Beth Hagan and Pastor Jimmy Hendricks discuss Adam Hamilton's book Incarnation for the first week of Advent. The expectation of a king is based in the promise to King David in 2 Samuel 7:1-16.
The angel Gabriel visits Mary and tells her that she will bear a son who will sit on David's throne in Luke 1:26-38.
